Brad Adams is chief university operations officer at 2U, Inc. As CUOO, Adams oversees the progressive learning design, operations, execution, and academic success of 2U’s global graduate and short course products. He leads a driven team of more than 650 people and oversees several departments, including student outcomes, curriculum and learning, and placement. In this capacity, Adams is responsible for collaborating with university partners and the internal teams he manages to conceptualize and implement new initiatives aimed at consistently improving retention and graduation rates for students across the full spectrum of 2U-powered programs.

Adams joined the company in 2009 as executive vice president of post-enrollment services, managing the service components of the student lifecycle. Prior to 2U, he served as general manager of Educate Online and vice president of technology for Sylvan Learning.

Adams holds a BA in history and MPIA in public policy and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh as well as an MBA from MBA@UNC, the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School online MBA program powered by 2U. With more than 20 years of edtech experience, Adams has an unyielding passion for quality, student outcomes, and service.
